2020 Unity March Against Racism - Southwest Chicago Diversity Collaborative - 10/10/20

"The stated goal of BLM organization, people, is to achieve the destruction of the nuclear family, abolish the police, abolish prisons, abolish border security, abolish capitalism, and abolish school choice—that's what their stated goals are." Donald Trump, September 25th, 2020

"The first time I ever heard of Black Lives Matter, I said that's such a terrible term because it's such a racist term. It's a term that sows division between blacks and whites and everybody else. And it's a very bad term, for blacks. But they were very angry. It's a Marxist organization." Donald Trump, October 9th, 2020

2020 Scenes from the 2020 Unity March Against Racism, held on October 10th in Chicago's far south 19th Ward. Kicking off from the parking lot of the Beverly Arts Center, the group of approximately 200 BLM supporters marched west for two miles along the narrow sidewalks of 111th Street, ending with a short rally at the Chicago High School for Agriculture at Pulaski Avenue.

During the protest I noted such potent Marxist propaganda as:

"To our elected officials, the 19th Ward is diverse whether you want to believe it or not! I don't want a yard sign, I want representation on the city coucil floor!"

"Black Lives Matter! Black Children Matter! Black Women Matter! South Side Matters!"

"Say his name, George Floyd! Say her name, Breonna Taylor! Say his name, Joshua Beal!" (25 year old Johua Beal was shot by police on 11/5/16 in the affluent Mount Greenwood neighborhood, through which the march progressed.)

"We support and celebrate Black lives and Black women! We're working to help Black women meet their full potential" (From sisters Janet and Jennifer of the nonprofit "Beauty and Brains" organization.)

"Vote! Vote! Vote! And between elections help hold our elected officials accountable!"

"Joshua Beal was murdered down the street here by the fire station. We have to fight to end racism!
