On short notice, one day after the firing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, hundreds of impassioned protesters gathered at the Federal Building to express support for continuing the Mueller probe into Russian influence on the 2016 presidential election. Illinois Senator Richard Durbin, State Senator Dan Biss, and others, addressed the crowd, which then marched noisily north through the loop to demonstrate across the river from Chicago's Trump Tower.
